Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a mind-body approach that addresses the stress response in the body. Every emotion has a physiological response (for example: a racing heartbeat, a knot in your stomach, a tight throat , etc.) These responses are naturally hard wired in the body and are normally extinguished when a threat has subsided. However, there are times when the body will “keep the score” and run that stress response over and over. This can happen even when your mind KNOWS the threat is long gone.
When that happens, you can experience self-sabotaging behavior, destructive belief systems (both conscious and subconscious), chronic physical ailments and somatic symptoms like headaches, backaches, or shoulder pain, etc.
Extensive scientific research has shown that emotions are actually neuropeptides, hormones, and other specialized information molecules. Therefore an emotion is BOTH psychological and physiological. This is why we must address both in mental health.
In a session, NET utilizes muscle testing and acupuncture meridian points to help locate the original moment connected to a stress response. Then a correction is made with the meridian points on the wrist and forehead to “detox” those emotions from the body so that the stress response pattern is dissolved.

Telehealth sessions happen over secure video, wherever you are. Hike therapy is in-person, walking outdoors together — some people process more easily in motion and in the open air rather than sitting across from someone in an office. Both use the same approach; it's simply a matter of which format fits you best.

You can email me at jacquelynlarsonlmft@gmail.com or fill out the form in "Book a Free Consultation" on the website, and we'll find a time that works for both of us. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, where I'll hear a bit about what's bringing you to therapy and share more about how I work. Together, we can determine if we're a good fit and, if so, when to begin treatment.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
•You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059. -
